Unfortunately so many people use sites like Spokeo to gather data about credit eligibility! This is a fact that I verified for myself by talking to some of my friends and acquaintances. Didn’t you ever wonder why you were getting emails and phone calls from people offering your credits? How did they know you needed one and where did they find your information?

I’ve been using this website for the last 2-3 months. I had to locate some old coworkers and while it took me longer than expected I did manage to track of them by now which is great! I had to work a little to find my first coworker (it took me about 8 days) but with his help I quickly tracked the second. I still need to get in touch with another 7 people but this service is helpful.

Yeah, it doesn’t work for catching a cheating husband because I’ve tried it, but it does get your foot firmly in the door. I suspected my husband was cheating on me and by using Spokeo I found out some very interesting things that I confronted him about. He couldn’t deny it and admitted what he had done. Now, I’m in the process of divorcing him.

Never heard of this “people search engine”. I actually hate these kind of sites because they share some private information that most people don’t want to have it publicly visible. The whole world has gone upside down since Facebook and other social networks have appeared! I can’t believe how open some people are online! They post their families, kids and homes on the internet! I would never do it!

$3.95 per month doesn’t seem like that much for what Spokeo seems to have the capacity of doing. I think websites like it are somewhat helpful. If I wanted to get in touch with a lost relative or friend I would turn to such a website. And I would pay a lot more than that to use it.
